Senior Data Architect

Job Overview:

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architectures that drive business insights and inform data-driven decision-making.

You will oversee the development of scalable data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using industry-leading technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, and open-source data lake architectures.

Key responsibilities include managing ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, and applying best practices for compliance, security, and data governance.

Additionally, you will conduct data mapping, data profiling, and data lineage analysis to guarantee precise and reliable data flow.

Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry is essential to continuously enhance our data architecture.

Technical leadership and guidance will be provided to junior data engineers and architects.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 14-15 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data architecture
  • Demonstrated proficiency in open-source data lake architectures, Snowflake, Databricks, or Hadoop, along with practical knowledge of their corresponding tools and frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, is preferred
  • A thorough understanding of data warehousing, data lake topologies, and ETL procedures
