Housekeeping Staff

This is an entry-level position in the housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas.
  • Change bed linens and restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
  • Safely handle and dispose of medical waste and biohazards according to hospital protocols.
  • Operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, buffers) safely and effectively.
  • Follow infection prevention and control standards at all times.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from nursing staff and supervisors.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.

Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and families.
