Job Role: People Operations Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy & Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies aligned with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure seamless compliance across regions, navigating complex legal landscapes with ease.
  • Culture & Engagement:
  • Design and execute initiatives that foster a strong, inclusive company culture, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  • Be the champion of our company's vision, inspiring employees to feel valued and connected.
  • Regularly engage with teams across locations, understanding concerns and delivering effective solutions.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for various roles, including sales, projects, facilitators, and content creation.
  • Build a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, identifying top candidates for future success.
  • Create a streamlined onboarding experience for new hires, setting them up for long-term success.
  • Performance & Development:
  • Implement and manage Key Result Areas (KRAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and appraisal cycles, driving employee growth.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps, organizing targeted training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • HR Operations & Technology:
  • Effectively manage HR Information Systems (HRIS) like Zoho People, ensuring attendance, leaves, performance, and employee data are accurately tracked.
  • Generate actionable insights and reports for leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Business Partnership:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and leadership, providing strategic guidance and expertise.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with all functions, ensuring HR initiatives align seamlessly with business objectives.

Requirements:
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong track record in:
  • Indian labor laws and compliance.
  • Policy development and implementation.
  • Employee engagement across multiple regions.
  • Recruitment and onboarding.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms like Zoho People.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – approachable, empathetic, and a people person.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in L&D or training industry.
  • Certification in labor law, HR analytics, or employee relations.
  • Exposure to culture-building initiatives in growing organizations.
  • Experience in HR digital transformation and automation projects.
