As a seasoned Application Lead, you will spearhead the development of applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team through the development process.
Key Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME in PostgreSQL database administration.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Manage a team to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Make informed decisions that impact team outcomes.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decision-making processes.
- Provide solutions to complex problems for immediate and multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL database administration.
- Experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
- 5 years of experience in DB2 to Postgres migration, including successful migrations.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and replication.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PostgreSQL deployments (AWS).
- CDC tools like Precisely, zDIH, and Blu Age certification/knowledge.
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- 15 years full-time education is required.
- This position is based at our office.
