System Analyst Finance Job Description

Deliver customer-focused master data management and simplification of finance and accounting processes to automate activities in a shared service environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Master Data Management for large manufacturing group of companies, including vendor, customer, material, and service master data.
  • Make technology decisions for MDM solutions, interpret client requirements, and architect the solution.
  • Drive end-to-end architecture of MDM, including data model definition, data quality assessment, remediation design, data migration strategy, data stewardship, process and system interaction design.
  • Use MDM technologies across companies to enable master data management and integration.
  • Work with automation technologies like RPA.
  • Lead projects for simplification and automation using SAP (HANA), having knowledge of sub-systems and t-codes.
  • Supervise SAP (FICO Module).
  • Derive new initiatives, evaluate vendors/implementation partners, and collaborate with process owners and IT verticals for project delivery.
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and support closure through automation.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Adhere to company policies and laws with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Connect, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors.
  • Experience working in Indian captive shared services or matured captive SSC.
  • Transformation streams and experience in Six Sigma – Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Manage data governance and master data management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through requirements, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Educational Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant or CA Inter or MBA Finance.

Experience:

7-10 Years of Experience in technologies used in SSC environment and SAP.
