Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled engineer to join our team as a Jr. Estimation and Tendering Engineer.

This role involves supporting tender estimations and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities for highway and bridge infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and relevant codes, with prior experience in highway or bridge infrastructure projects preferred.

  • Estimating Project Costs: Review tender documents, schedules, and technical specifications to estimate project costs accurately.
  • Preparing BoQs: Prepare preliminary BoQs based on schematic or tender drawings, and maintain and update material rates and quantity databases.
  • Quantity Take-Offs: Read and interpret final IFC/approved drawings for accurate quantity take-off, and extract quantities related to highways and structural elements.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in BoQ preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or infrastructure design-based quantity surveying.
  • Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings and GFC documents.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel, knowledge of AutoCAD or any BoQ preparation software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IRC/IS codes and construction practices for bridges/highways is desirable.
