We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage billing for Managed Care Organizations (MCO). This individual will be responsible for processing Assignment of Benefits (AOB) and Long-Term Care claims, handling Private Pay billing and follow-ups, logging and reconciling payments accurately, and communicating with clients and internal teams via email and phone.

Responsibilities:
  • Billing Management: Oversee the entire billing process for MCO, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • AOB and LTC Claims Processing: Manage the processing of AOB and LTC claims from submission to payment.
  • Private Pay Billing: Handle all aspects of Private Pay billing, including invoicing and follow-up communication.
  • Payment Reconciliation: Log and reconcile payments accurately, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams via email and phone.
Requirements:
  • Experience in homecare billing, including MCO, AOB, Long-Term Care, and Private Pay.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain organized records and ensure compliance.
  • Proficiency in logging payments and professional email communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
