We are seeking a seasoned backend engineer to play a pivotal role in building Yoshi, a cutting-edge Bitcoin wallet with industry-leading security features.

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement low-latency APIs and real-time services for instant sends, swaps, and approvals.
- Develop backend integrations with key partners to enhance the overall user experience.
- Maintain a robust ledger and state machine for secure money movement.
- Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
- Ensure high-performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
- Expertise in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin programming languages.
- Familiarity with asynchronous I/O, queues, retries, and state machines.
- Detailed knowledge of databases (Postgres, Redis) and data modeling for consistency.
- A proven track record of owning systems from design to production.
