Job Title: Senior Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our recruitment, payroll and compliance functions. This role involves end-to-end talent acquisition, statutory compliance, employee relations and HR operations across multiple manufacturing sites and projects.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in staffing operations or HR roles supporting large manufacturing clients. Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance is essential.

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Recruit for shop-floor, technical, supervisory and corporate roles through effective sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation.
  • Collaborate with business heads and project managers to identify headcount plans and skills requirements.
  • Manage agency/vendor relationships and ensure seamless onboarding processes.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
  • Oversee payroll processing, salary calculations, reimbursements and statutory contributions.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors/software and validate payroll outputs for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle salary structuring, increments and payroll reconciliations.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management:
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, professional tax and state-specific regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and statutory registers.
  • Support internal and client audits and implement corrective actions.
  • HR Operations & Employee Relations:
  • Administer HR policies, employment contracts and attendance management.
  • Manage grievances, disciplinary actions and exit interviews.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain HR MIS dashboards.
  • People Development & Performance Management:
  • Support performance management cycles and training needs identification.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience in staffing operations or HR roles supporting large manufacturing clients.
  • Master's in HR / MBA-HR preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and popular HRMS/payroll tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Hindi.
