Stamping Component Industrialisation Leader

The Stamping Component Industrialisation Leader is responsible for driving the development and industrialisation of stamping components and associated tools. This role requires a deep understanding of tool design, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tooling development, with experience in specifying, industrialising, and qualifying tools and components. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to collaborate effectively with technical teams and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing tool specification, DFM, and strip layout plans
- Reviewing tool designs for their capability to deliver robust parts and critical to quality (CTQs) along with PFMEA
- Selecting, validating, introducing, and standardising new technologies/processes locally in stamping components domain
- Estimating tool and part costing, planning, and scheduling of tool manufacturing
- Establishing stamping process parameters and obtaining plant acceptance
- Leading continuous improvement actions for the tool & manufacturing process
Required qualifications include a Diploma in Tool and Die Making and at least 15 years of experience in stamping tooling development and moulding process development.
