International Student Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned International Student Recruitment Specialist to join our team at UAP Global in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector, with a proven track record of achieving recruitment targets. They will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategic plans to expand our presence in South India, boost international student enrolment, and form crucial partnerships with top educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to expand UAP's presence in South India, boost international student enrolment, and form crucial partnerships with top educational institutions.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on educational trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets within South India.
- Innovation and Adaptation: Continuously innovate and adapt strategies in response to changes in the market and educational landscape to maintain UAP's competitive advantage.
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with Indian universities, educational consortia, and recruitment agencies to support international student recruitment efforts.
- Agreement Management: Manage partnership agreements to ensure alignment with UAP's strategic objectives and compliance requirements and monitor their implementation and success.
- B2B Partnerships: Strengthen B2B partnerships by engaging with educational agents and universities, enhancing the network for student recruitment and driving enrolment growth.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies to promote UAP's services to potential partners and students in South India.
- Digital Marketing: Utilise digital marketing techniques, direct communication, and active participation in educational fairs and seminars to drive recruitment campaigns.
- Student Recruitment: Lead targeted international student recruitment campaigns, leveraging digital marketing, direct communication, and participation in educational fairs and seminars across South India.
- Customer Relationship Management: Utilise CRM strategies to manage prospective student inquiries effectively, optimising conversion rates from initial contact through to application and enrolment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the admissions and academic departments to streamline the application and enrolment processes, ensuring a smooth transition for international students.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop a robust reporting framework to monitor the effectiveness of recruitment and partnership strategies, using data analytics for informed decision-making.
- Stakeholder Updates: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, offering insights and strategic recommendations based on detailed analysis.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the student admission process in collaboration with the Admissions department, ensuring efficient processing of applications.
- Performance Evaluation: Administer agent accounts and compile performance reports to evaluate and enhance their contribution to recruitment goals.
- Training and Support: Conduct and facilitate training sessions, mock interviews, and other preparatory activities for applicants, ensuring they are well-prepared for the application process.
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector, with a proven track record of achieving recruitment targets.
- Strong understanding of global higher education systems, admissions processes, and student visa regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract students from South India.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving enrolment goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; familiarity with student recruitment platforms and tools preferred.
- Fluency in English and Tamil.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
