Job Title: Electrical Procurement Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring that the right products are sourced at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

  • The role demands strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  2. Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  3. Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  4. Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  5. Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  6. Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
