We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Intellectual Property to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of IP professionals and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

This position will work closely with the Global IP Head, Research and Development, and Portfolio teams to identify products for development, devise effective product development strategies, and draft patents and freedom-to-operate reports.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or Post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, with at least 13 years of experience in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing the growing IP portfolio
  • Enforcing IP processes to ensure optimal and timely protection of intellectual property
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify products and develop effective product development strategies
  • Drafting patents, freedom-to-operate reports, infringement and validity analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Filing and prosecuting inventive solutions to build significant wealth of intellectual property
  • Maintaining appropriate record architecture and content of the Company's inventions, know-how, trade secrets, and registered intellectual property
  • Educating management and scientists on current best practices for invention and intellectual property protection

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • PhD or Post-graduate degree in relevant field
  • At least 13 years of experience in Global Pharmaceutical company
  • Excellent leadership and team-handling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
