Job Title: Culinary Professional

Overview of the Role

  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring that all dishes are presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of food safety protocols and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with the chef to plan and implement daily specials, taking into account ingredient availability and customer preferences.
  • Operate baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations

You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict standards of food safety and hygiene. This includes regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and surfaces, as well as proper disposal of waste and recyclables.

  • Monitor and control kitchen temperatures, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Ensure that all food prepared meets the highest standards of quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar culinary position.
  • A strong understanding of food safety protocols and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
