Gender Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gender Specialist to join our team in Khunti, Jharkhand. The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing gender equality, mitigating violence against women and girls, promoting self-help groups, and facilitating income-generating business models.

• To study and understand the local context with a focus on gender equality and identify areas for improvement.
• To develop and implement effective strategies to address gender-based discrimination and promote women's empowerment.
• To mitigate violence against women and girls through education, awareness, and support services.
• To facilitate the formation and scaling up of registered self-help groups among women in our target villages.
• To provide training on financial literacy and business development to all self-help group members.
• To facilitate access to government resources, schemes, and bank loans to strengthen self-help groups.
• To ensure that all self-help groups maintain healthy living standards and meet due diligence requirements.
• To collect and collate data from all self-help groups and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• To measure impact and document success stories of women's empowerment.
• To provide counseling services on general, relationship, career guidance, and sexual health to adolescent girls in villages.
