Job Title: Intercompany Leadership Role
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee a team of members, handle their day-to-day operations and resolve queries/problems.
- Develop an understanding of the IC accounting process at Medline and learn the IC balances elimination logics set in Oracle FCCS.
- Review month-end activities performed by the IC team, including handling billing for IC transactions of US entities.
- Identify and review global IC BS and P&L variances and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.
- Perform top-side entries in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances that remain open at ME.
- Maintain accurate BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail, ensuring all necessary backups are available and well documented.
- Promptly follow up with global Controllers on any pending data/open queries.
- Provide solutions to multiple stakeholders on ad-hoc and regular queries.
- Standardize the IC process and delegate end-to-end activities to team members to enhance their business knowledge.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual activities via transformation projects.
- Strategize plans to achieve team goals in a timely manner within the stipulated timeframe.
- Develop Improved Standard Operating Procedures with detailed steps.
- Create backup layers for business continuity planning.
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics to ensure efficiency.
- Document training needs and provide coaching to team members.
- Effectively manage schedules and delegate tasks to team members.
- Provide guidance to team members on active projects.
