This senior leadership role focuses on Information Security, Risk Management, and Compliance. As Chief Security Officer, you will own and drive the enterprise-wide security strategy, ensuring resilience, compliance, and trust across our global payments infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be protecting our systems, partners, and customers while enabling secure scale across multiple jurisdictions. You must have deep expertise in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and a strong understanding of the Payments, FinTech, and Web3 industries.

Our multi-jurisdiction payments infrastructure requires adaptability and flexibility. Familiarity with global financial ecosystems, banking partners, and regulatory regimes is essential. You should possess a sharp awareness of data protection, fraud prevention, and AML/KYC/KYT compliance requirements.

Achieving success in this position demands continuous learning, collaboration with diverse teams, and embracing evolving cyber risks and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the enterprise-wide security program for a multi-jurisdiction payments infrastructure.
• Aligning policies and controls with global standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA, NIST, MAS, FCA, RBI).
• Defining frameworks for customer data protection, fraud monitoring, and secure payment APIs.
• Driving audit readiness and managing relationships with regulators, banks, and compliance partners across regions.
• Ensuring adherence to AML/KYC/KYT, PSD2, and local payment regulations in operating geographies.
• Leading global SOC functions—incident response, forensics, penetration testing, and threat intelligence.
• Ensuring resilience across cloud, APIs, wallets, and banking connectors with 24/7 monitoring.
• Hiring, mentoring, and scaling a world-class InfoSec, compliance, and fraud prevention team.
• Building a ‘security by design’ culture across engineering, product, and operations.
• Evaluating and integrating cutting-edge tools for real-time transaction monitoring, AI-driven risk scoring, and fraud detection.
• Embedding DevSecOps practices across global product engineering teams.

You will require:

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in senior leadership within FinTech, payments, or banking.
• Proven expertise in cross-border payments, card networks, wallets, and banking integrations.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CCSP or equivalents strongly preferred.
• Experience engaging with global regulators (FCA, MAS, RBI, EU, US FinCEN, etc.).
• Knowledge of AML/KYC/KYT systems, transaction monitoring, and fraud analytics.
• Excellent executive communication—able to translate technical risks into board-level strategy.
