Piping Stress Engineer Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Piping Design and Analysis: Perform piping stress analysis using Caesar II software and design pipe supports for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground.
  • Surge Analysis: Identify various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage, conduct surge analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software, extract surge force from PIPENET, and prepare surge analysis reports.
  • Technical Reviews: Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for underground and above ground piping to ensure compliance to relevant industry standards and safe design practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with non-metallic pipe vendors to obtain correct pipe properties, interact with clients/PMC/Vendors to resolve key issues, and monitor and adhere to all technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB/contract.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in piping stress analysis and design.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692), proficiency in Caesar II and PIPENET software, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
