Job Description: Piping Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Piping Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for various energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design and develop piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine the most suitable piping solutions.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic views.
• Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
• Review and approve vendor documents and drawings.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design, construction, or operation phases.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in piping technology and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
• Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II, ANSYS, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Professional engineering license is preferred.
