Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods from our warehouse. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be well-versed in warehouse processes, and have experience working in a similar profile with e-commerce or fulfillment centers.

  • Ensure completion of warehouse activities within set time frames and meet defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Be knowledgeable about warehouse processes including GRN, FIFO, LIFO, and put-away.
  • Conduct regular audits of stock levels at warehouses to ensure high accuracy.
  • Generate MIS reports on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and administrative guidelines and procedures.
  • Coordinate with transporters and courier partners for dispatches and RTO orders.
  • Generate E-way bills, check vendor invoices, and coordinate with internal and external team members.

Required Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role with e-commerce or fulfillment centers.
  • Knowledge of WMS/SAP or similar ERP packages is an added advantage.
  • Graduate degree with knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform tasks efficiently.
