Purpose of Job

  • The incumbent will support in procurement, import and warehousing management.
  • They will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products/services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate available products/services to meet user requirements.
  • Determine appropriate pricing by comparing available goods/services with industry trends.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through a request for proposal (RFP) process.
  • Support user functions for contract execution from a supply chain perspective.
  • Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing and inventory control management.
  • Coordinate with relevant functions on a regular basis to understand requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories.
  • Review existing contracts related to warehousing, inventory control, and import, and maintain a tracker/repository.
  • Raise needs of agreements in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end. Regular coordination with foreign partners, freight forwarders, customs agents, and customs departments.
  • Engage with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, and import.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.
  • Regular coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products daily.
  • Support data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import, and warehousing management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Able to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
