Job Title: Technical Assurance Specialist

Role Summary:

The Technical Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in guaranteeing product excellence by executing manual and automation testing, developing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual and automation testing to verify product quality and functionality
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, plans, and scripts to streamline the testing process
  • Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Identify and track bugs using tools like JIRA or TestRail to enhance issue resolution and tracking
  • Work closely with development and product teams to align on requirements and fixes to ensure timely delivery
  • Contribute to automation testing and work with CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Validate networking-related features and ensure ITIL/ITSM compliance to meet industry standards
  • Analyze logs, support root cause analysis, and suggest improvements to optimize product performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field to provide a solid foundation in technical knowledge
  • At least 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in ITSM or networking products to demonstrate expertise
  • Strong understanding of manual testing, bug tracking, and agile processes to facilitate collaboration and communication
  • Basic experience with APIs, SQL, and performance testing tools like JMeter to broaden technical skills
  • Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, Appium (a plus) to showcase adaptability
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, SNMP) to ensure depth of understanding
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Python, Java, or JavaScript to enhance technical capabilities
