The role of an ESG Solutions Specialist demands a unique blend of sustainability expertise and consultative selling skills to tackle clients' most pressing challenges.

This high-impact position bridges sales, sustainability, and technology, making it a dynamic client-facing opportunity.

  • Dive into discovery conversations with CXOs and sustainability leaders to understand their sustainability hurdles.
  • Presentation of capabilities tailored to identified client pain points and ESG requirements.
  • Sustainability domain expert in prospect conversations, providing answers to technical queries on ESG standards, frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, SEBI BRSR), carbon accounting, compliance, and assurance.
  • Prepare solution proposals outlining how GovEVA addresses client challenges, including solution design, value articulation, and next steps.
  • Nurture partially qualified prospects through thought leadership, peer analysis, case studies, and ROI calculations.
  • Closely partner with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure consistency of message and teamwork to win and retain business.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3–6 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or pre-sales for an ESG SaaS product.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance practices (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, BRSR, CSRD).
  • Experience conducting client discovery, building business cases, and delivering demos in enterprise B2B environments.
  • Excellent storytelling skills – translating technical ESG and compliance requirements into business impact.
  • Comfort with preparing solution documents, proposals, and ROI models that resonate with CFOs, CSOs, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to prepare peer benchmarking and market insights.
  • A consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • Bonus: Experience with ESG software platforms, SaaS workflows (multi-tenant, role-based access, data collection workflows), or carbon accounting tools.
