Job Description – ESG Expert

Location: Pune

Experience: 3–6 years

About the Role

We are looking for an ESG Consultant with strong expertise in sustainability, climate strategy, and ESG reporting. This role will be a key part of Credibl's ESG advisory practice and will closely collaborate with leadership to deliver high-impact outcomes for clients across industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop ESG strategies & implementation roadmaps aligned with client business objectives.
  • Conduct GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) and support decarbonisation pathways in high-emission sectors.
  • Lead sustainability reporting & disclosures under frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, CDP, GRESB, EcoVadis.
  • Perform ESG assurance audits and ensure compliance with global standards.
  • Build and manage ESG dashboards and streamline client data collection processes.
  • Partner with the Founder on client delivery, leadership engagement, and business development.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in ESG consulting, sustainability reporting, or climate strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of global reporting frameworks, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with client leadership and manage projects end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passionate about sustainability, climate change, and energy transition.

Qualifications

  • Master's in Energy Engineering / Sustainability / Environmental Sciences (preferred).
  • Bachelor's in Engineering / Environmental / Related field.
