About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our company's IT infrastructure strategy and implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of our cloud-based systems.

This is a strategic role that requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cloud Management:
    • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all cloud-based systems.
    • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing.
    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • IT Administration:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
    • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
    • Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
    • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services.
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Management Skills:
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in budgeting and financial management for IT projects.
    • Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to assess and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation skills for vendor management.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Proven experience in managing IT vendors and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is preferred.
