Job Role Overview:

A motivated and detail-oriented professional is required to join our litigation team. The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and clients on diverse litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable drafting pleadings, petitions, written statements, and other legal documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive representation.
  • They should conduct thorough legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs to support the case strategy.
  • Assisting in strategy formulation and case preparation to maximize the chances of success is also essential.
  • Liaising with clients to keep them updated on case progress, providing regular updates and clear explanations is crucial.
  • Ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness is vital.
  • Collaborating with internal teams for case-related support and documentation to maintain seamless communication and coordination is key.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong drafting and legal research skills are necessary to analyze complex information and produce high-quality outputs.
  • Knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures is essential to navigate the judicial system effectively.
  • Effective communication and client-handling skills are critical to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and sound problem-solving ability is vital.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • A law graduate with 1–3 years of relevant litigation experience is preferred.
  • Enrollment with the Bar Council to demonstrate commitment to professional development is a must.
  • Prior exposure to civil, commercial, or regulatory litigation is desirable but not essential.
