Job Title:

IT Data Protection Specialist

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating rotational shifts, overseeing backup and recovery processes, and analyzing system logs to ensure seamless data protection.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Operate rotational shifts to guarantee 24/7 coverage of backup and recovery operations.
  2. Manage backup and recovery processes using industry-leading software.
  3. Analyze system logs to identify issues and optimize data protection strategies.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the field of data protection.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection and recovery with expertise in Commvault software.
  • Strong knowledge of core concepts related to backup and recovery solutions, including Windows and Linux file systems, VMware, SQL, Oracle, Exchange/M365, SAP HANA, and Oracle RAC backups.
  • Proficiency in cloud products (AWS/Azure/GCP) and storage solutions, as well as Linux and Windows operating systems.
