About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our converged infrastructure systems.

  • You will analyze storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCenter monitoring results to recommend improvements in performance, security, and utilization.
  • Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or additional equipment to increase system capacities.
  • Troubleshoot issues to maintain high levels of system uptime and performance.
  • Coordinate with OEMs to replace hardware, advance troubleshoot, or code upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for converged infrastructure related issues, provisioning, new deployment support/planning, and expansion of resources.
  • Maximize uptime and performance characteristics for SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
  • Handle escalated issues from L2 Team and clients to ensure timely closure.
  • Day-to-day operation activities, BMC ticket closure within SLA, coordination, and work with multiple teams' stakeholders to solve issues.
  • Plan and perform required changes, raising RFCs accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a VMware Administrator or in a similar role.
