Job Description:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, assembly materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and consumables on the shop floor as per the production plan.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production using materials handling equipment such as RGVs, AGVs, forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, stalkers, and conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting, de-palletizing, palletizing, packing, material issuance, internal scrap movement, and other tasks.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Move hazardous and non-hazardous scrap to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, and supply chain management, to fulfill business requirements.
  • Maintain required entries and documents in SAP and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Promote adherence to standards and maintain PPE and consumables.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of the right materials to production.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to material unavailability.
  • Train personnel to operate related equipment efficiently.
