At 3M, we're committed to innovation and empowering our employees to explore their curiosity and creativity. As a Sales/Business Development Manager in our Electrical Markets Division, you'll have the opportunity to drive growth and make a lasting impact.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate and expand 3M's Electrical Cable Accessories portfolio in the Construction and Industrial (C&I) Segment.
- Cultivate strong relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, electrical Contractors, and Engineering Procurement Construction firms to drive technology adoption and approval.
- Collaborate with sales and application engineering teams to generate leads, conduct trials, demos, and approvals for focus products and new technologies launched by 3M.
- Actively engage with key accounts and strategically develop business and relationships in the C&I Segment across India.
- Manage sales pipelines and achieve assigned sales quotas.
To succeed in this role, you'll require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least ten years of Sales and/or Business Development experience, primarily in the construction and industrial market segment.
- Previous experience with CRM and pipeline management.
Additional qualifications that can help you excel in this role include:
- Experience in construction and industrial segments such as Power generation, Metals and Mining, Oil and Gas/Petrochem Industry, Rail and Metro, Airports, Data Centers, and Renewable (Solar and Wind) Energy.
- Knowledge about the Electrical industry and product approval processes with end users and engineering consultants.
- Experience working with large key accounts and channel partners.
- Experience in a matrix organization structure.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
