About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Project Manager to lead our software development programs and projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining project goals, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and convert them into technical requirements for developers.
  • Define project goals, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Lead and manage software development programs and projects, ensuring that they are completed within scope, schedule, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, quality assurance professionals, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and execution of project tasks.
  • Monitor and track project progress, risks, and issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate updates and impacts to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization, standardization, and automation, and implementing improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives, and provide clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Domain expertise in either Radio, transport, or Core domain.
  • Worked in either Planning, Strategy, or Operations field in telecom domain of any organization.
  • Experience in managing software development programs and projects would be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, and experience in applying them in project management would be preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and technologies, such as version control systems, issue tracking systems, and project management software would be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

This role is based in Airtel Centre – Gurugram, India.
