Senior Geospatial Developer Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Geospatial Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of complex geospatial solutions.

About the Role:

This senior-level position involves overseeing ArcGIS Enterprise Administration, FME Management, Security and Access Control, Platform Maintenance, Risk and Issue Tracking, and Documentation and Communication.

  • ArcGIS Enterprise Administration: Responsibilities include managing all ArcGIS components, such as portal, hosting server, data store, blob storage, file share, web maps, enterprise database, desktop accessibility, and related connectivity.
  • FME Management: Oversee FME-related components, licenses, connectivity, processes, and access controls.
  • Security and Access Control: Ensure security and access control across the ArcGIS platform using Azure Active Directory users, groups, and portal roles.
  • Platform Maintenance: Assist in upgrading and maintaining ArcGIS Desktop and Server instances to the latest versions as required.
  • Risk and Issue Tracking: Capture and track risks and issues related to the ArcGIS and FME platforms.
  • Documentation and Communication: Review and update documentation for quality, validity, and completeness, and establish communication with vendors to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4-9 years of experience in the ESRI stack (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop) along with hands-on experience with FME Desktop and Server. Additionally, expertise in Azure Data Lake and SQL skills is essential. A strong understanding of geospatial concepts and ESRI technology is also required.
