Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at AviinTech Business Solutions. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Tosca to create and execute automated test scripts for software applications, ensuring thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and scenarios, ensuring seamless integration and effective testing.
  • Conduct Functional Regression and Performance Testing: Utilize Tosca tools to conduct functional regression and performance testing, identifying and resolving defects to ensure high-quality software solutions.
  • Analyze Test Results and Report on Quality: Analyze test results, report on the quality and stability of software applications, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
  • Create Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Reports: Develop and maintain test cases, test data, and test reports to ensure adequate test coverage and quality assurance.
  • Identify and Document Software Defects: Identify and document software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Participate in agile ceremonies, providing testing insights to improve software quality and ensure seamless integration with development teams.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and processes, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and implementing them in testing processes.
  • Provide Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in test automation practices, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong foundation in software development and testing.
  • Proven Experience in Test Automation: Have at least 3 years of proven experience in test automation using Tosca, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Strong Understanding of Agile Methodologies: Possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience in defect tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA.
  • Proficiency in Defect Tracking and Reporting Tools: Be proficient in defect tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA, with experience in software quality assurance and testing processes.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance: Demonstrate knowledge of software quality assurance and testing processes, with experience in performance and load testing using Tosca.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Good Communication and Collaboration Abilities: Possess good communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Certification in Tosca or Relevant Testing Automation Tools: Possess certification in Tosca or other relevant testing automation tools, with a strong understanding of software quality assurance and testing processes.
