Role Overview:

The role of a Manual Tester at ConsultBae India Private Limited is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products. This position involves identifying defects and issues through manual testing processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet quality standards and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Planning: Develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
  2. Test Execution: Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to communicate and resolve issues.
  4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.
  5. Documentation: Document testing procedures and results for future reference.
  6. Product Design: Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide input on potential issues and areas of improvement.
  7. Testing Standards: Develop and maintain testing standards guidelines and procedures.
  8. Deployment Support: Provide support during software deployment and release processes.
  9. Defect Reporting: Report defects and issues in a clear and detailed manner.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.
  11. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
  12. Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality assurance best practices and standards.
  13. Testing Activity Management: Manage and prioritize testing activities to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in manual software testing.
  3. Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  4. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
  5. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
