Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Techsol Engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in gas piping and detector systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for gas piping and detector systems.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Lead quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Review and analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process enhancement.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper training of quality control staff and other relevant personnel on quality standards and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and clients to address quality-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, standards, and best practices to continuously improve quality control practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Quality Control Engineer with a focus on gas piping and detector systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as ASME, API, and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in quality control techniques and tools, including non-destructive testing (NDT), root cause analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and interpret complex data.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in leading quality control teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
  • Familiarity with quality management software and systems.
  • Certification in quality control or related areas (e.g., Six Sigma, CQI) is a plus.
