AWS Certified Relational Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain large-scale databases on AWS RDS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement query optimizations to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain scripts and programs to automate standard database tasks and operations.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for databases through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
- Strong experience with AWS CLI, AWS RDS, and relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of percona toolkit, pg/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Cross-region replication in AWS and/or other cloud environments.
- Experience with data quality and data observability aspects of data management.
- Knowledge of cloud-based backup and restore processes.
- Scripting and programming experience to automate standard DB tasks/operations.
