About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to spearhead innovation through data analysis. This key role is focused on developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models, driving product recommendations, and unlocking valuable customer insights that directly impact business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to support product recommendations and personalization initiatives
  • Create and implement data models with SQL to ensure clean, reliable, and scalable datasets for informed decision-making
  • Analyze customer segmentation and forecasting use cases to enhance strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into actionable data solutions
  • Leverage advanced tools like Snowflake and DBT for efficient data transformation and model building
  • Present insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders to drive business outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python for data science and ML workflows, including experience with popular libraries and frameworks
  • Experience in SQL for data modeling and querying, with expertise in creating efficient queries and optimizing database performance
  • Thorough understanding of Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, recommendation systems) and ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch (or other ML frameworks), with a focus on building and deploying scalable models
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or other cloud ML platforms
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable insights

Preferred Background:

  • 1–3 years of applied experience in Data Science / ML, with a portfolio of successful projects and implementations
  • Prior experience in E-commerce, with a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams
