Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers.

This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our applications and delivering a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Execute a variety of tests, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both manually and using automated tools (web and mobile applications).
  • Bug Reporting: Accurately identify, document, and track software defects from discovery through resolution using a bug-tracking system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand product requirements and ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and test artifacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, Playwright).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for test automation.
  • Test and validate AI/ML models and workflows for accuracy and reliability.
  • Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6).
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Familiarity with browser testing tools like Browser Stack or Sauce Labs.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
