Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection, testing, and quality assurance for castings and metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections, dimensional inspections, hydrostatic pressure testing, liquid penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing, and radiographic testing.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP).
  • Liaise with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors, ensuring smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements.
  • Execute QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements.
  • Perform daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors, including chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis) and mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing.
  • Coordinate technical aspects with NABL-accredited laboratories, ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards.
  • Supervise and quality check heat treatment processes for castings.
  • CALIBRATE precision measuring tools and gauges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field is required. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience in quality control, preferably in the foundry industry.

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices is essential. Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges is also necessary.
