We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow IT asset management professional to manage our IT assets effectively. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IT asset management processes using the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and configure ServiceNow ITAM modules to manage hardware and software assets
- Integrate ITAM processes with CMDB, Discovery, and Procurement to ensure data accuracy
- Configure asset models, lifecycle states, depreciation, contracts, warranties, and procurement records to optimize asset utilization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enforce policies for asset governance and compliance
- Build custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs for asset tracking, license usage, and compliance monitoring
- Set up integrations with 3rd-party tools like SCCM, Jamf, Tanium, Flexera, Snow, etc.
- Implement automation for asset reconciliation and license harvesting where applicable
- Conduct data audits and cleansing efforts to ensure CMDB-ITAM data alignment
- Proficiency in ServiceNow ITAM modules: Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro), Software Asset Management (SAM Pro)
- Knowledge of CMDB structure, relationships, and data health
- Hands-on experience with: Asset Models, Consumables, Assets Lifecycle, Software Entitlements, License Metrics, Reclamation Rules
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, and MID Servers
- Scripting knowledge: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies
- Experience with integrating tools such as SCCM, JAMF, BigFix, Flexera, Tanium, Intune, Snow
- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Transform Maps, Data Imports
- Familiarity with ITIL, SAM/HAM best practices, and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of software licensing models: per user/device, concurrent
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist: ITAM, SAM, or HAM Highly Preferred
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Preferred
- Microsoft or AWS licensing certifications a plus
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Self-driven and proactive with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
