Job Overview

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's technical infrastructure, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and supporting end-users. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security permissions to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related queries in a timely manner.
  • Oversee data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning to minimize business disruption.
  • Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.) to protect against cyber threats.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.) to track equipment and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines to maintain regulatory adherence.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.) and good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
