Job Description

This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the organization's network and security infrastructure. The Network Administrator will oversee the implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of network devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% uptime of the data center WAN and LAN network.
  • Manage the entire network and security infrastructure of the data center as well as the local area network.
  • Support business continuity planning drills.
  • Define network and security policies, procedures, and risk assessment and threat plans.
  • Handle internal and external audits related to network and security processes.
  • Closure of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing observations related to network and security devices.
  • Capacity management of network and security devices.
  • Review change management for new requirements or changes in existing network and security infrastructure.
  • Vendor management.
  • Design and upgrade the network and security infrastructure. This includes understanding current device capacity, discussing future requirements with application teams, and finalizing device procurement.
  • Procure devices for network projects, involving solution finalization, RFP preparation, vendor coordination, and purchase order creation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of network and security infrastructure, including prior experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network and security devices.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts.
  • Familiarity with Cisco IOS XE, Cat-OS, and NX-OS.
  • Knowledge of SDWAN and network and web security.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
