Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to join our investments team. This role will be based in Mumbai and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in fund operations.

  • Lead the Mumbai team in day-to-day responsibilities and provide guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other locations to achieve shared goals.
  • Review financial statements and fund reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Execute investor capital calls and distributions according to established procedures.
  • Support the audit of the funds by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Provide expert knowledge on fund structures and portfolio solutions to support the Mumbai team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supporting procedures and be responsible for onboarding and refresher training for team members.
  • Research and interpret relevant regulations and summarize key points for the benefit of the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in fund operations or a related field, preferably with a leading asset manager or administrator.
  • Practical knowledge of various asset classes, including securities, loans, derivatives, and pooled funds.
  • Experience in private markets/private equity fund accounting.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and coherent manner.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
