Investment Portfolio Associate

We are seeking an experienced Investment Portfolio Associate to join our team. As an Investment Portfolio Associate, you will play a key role in the management and analysis of private equity funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update portfolio details for various private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Create and update pre-defined investor-specific quarterly reporting templates, providing valuable insights into fund performance.
  • Analyze fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Calculate and analyze fund valuation data, including investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.
  • Track operational KPIs and provide regular updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Create and update fund track records, reconciling data using cash flow notices.
  • Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform various fund analytics, including attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely information exchange and communicate effectively with clients on task status.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate or equivalent qualifications, such as CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, or CAIA.
  • 1-10 years of experience in relevant financial services, preferably in Management Reporting or Operational Finance, with some research experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Power BI, with added advantage of experience in E-front, ilevel, and Microsoft Access.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to team success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
