Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Design Lead to join our team in the DRAM and Emerging Memory Group (DEG) at Micron Technology. As a Memory Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team tasked with product design & development, including designing, analyzing, and verifying digital and analog circuits used in the development of DRAM memory products with advanced low power and power management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the development of new DRAM, emerging memory products, and IP's by enabling the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
  2. Support design validation & verification, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions.
  3. Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators.
  4. Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success.
  5. Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure proper manufacturability of products.
  6. Proactively solicit inputs from Standards, CAD, modeling, Technology Development groups to ensure design quality and reliability.
  7. Drive innovation into future memory generations within a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team of young engineers and technical subject matter experts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design and verification peers in verbal and written form.
  • A mindset and passion for continuous learning, innovation, success, and enabling others to do the same.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Custom Circuit Design, Analog Design, Verification, and Layout.
  • Familiarity with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc).
  • Familiarity with various memory design architectures.
  • Good exposure to various CAD tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Electronics Engineering or related engineering field.
  • 10+ years of related industry technical experience.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
