Memory Design Engineering Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Memory Design Engineer to lead our team in optimizing analog circuits for DRAM memory products. With over 10 years of industry experience and 3+ years of leadership, you will be responsible for leading the development of new DRAM, emerging memory products, and IP's by enabling the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the world, including design, layout, and verification, to support groups such as Business Unit, Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing. You will work proactively to build products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of new DRAM, emerging memory products, and IP's by enabling the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
  • Supporting design validation & verification, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions
  • Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators
  • Contributing to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success
  • Working with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure proper manufacturability of product
  • Proactively soliciting inputs from Standards, CAD, modeling, Technology Development groups to ensure design quality and reliability
  • Driving innovation into future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment

As a leader in this role, you will have:

  • Experience leading a team of young engineers and technical subject matter experts
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to other design and verification peers
  • A mindset and passion for continuous learning, innovation, success, and enabling others to do the same
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Custom Circuit Design, Analog Design, Verification, and Layout
  • Familiarity with complete product design and development flow, including Memory Design, Power network development & analysis, Reliability analysis and improvements, State machine modelling, design, and verification, and Verification methodologies and frameworks
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc.) and various memory design architectures
  • Good exposure to various CAD tools

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field and have an estimated salary of $140,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
