Senior Business Analyst Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful delivery of consulting engagements. You will work closely with client stakeholders and business users to gather and document solution requirements.

The ideal candidate for this position will have hands-on experience in general IT business analysis from an E-Commerce domain. Experience implementing Hybris Commerce (2-3 years) is also highly desirable.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can multitask and work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements for developing requirement documentation.
  • Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Consult with clients and business users on Omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, and more.
  • Develop user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope.
  • Accountable for completing assigned work within specified timeframes and communicating status if deadlines are at risk.
  • Collaborate with project delivery team members to resolve business or systems issues.
  • Understand e-commerce data structures, collect product catalogue data, manipulate data for import into eCommerce systems, and identify data gaps.
  • Provide system demonstrations and training to clients.
  • Develop test plans, write test scripts, and define acceptance criteria for high-quality project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in general IT business analysis from an E-Commerce domain.
  • Experience implementing Hybris Commerce (2-3 years).
  • Concrete understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Experience with global service delivery models.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
