Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, designing and implementing data pipelines, and developing predictive models.

  • The successful candidate will collaborate with our data science team to develop complex algorithms that provide valuable insights into our data.
  • They will utilize agile software development processes to drive iterative improvements to our back-end systems, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • The Data Engineer will design and implement data pipelines that efficiently clean, transform, and aggregate data from diverse sources, enabling comprehensive data analysis.
  • They will also develop and maintain predictive models that answer critical business questions and inform strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with Big Data and Google Cloud technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Big Data toolset, including BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD with Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, R).
  • Proficiency in Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented team with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes.
  • Professional certification.
