Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Data Integration Specialist to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake. This expert will lead the integration strategy for ingesting and harmonizing data from various sources, including AWS-based data lakes/warehouses and SAP systems.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of data governance and automation tools, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, PySpark, and PowerShell. Experience with API-based data integration, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and machine learning pipelines is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake
  • Lead the integration strategy for ingesting and harmonizing data from external sources, including AWS-based data lakes/warehouses and SAP systems
  • Automate ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Build and maintain real-time and batch data integration workflows between Azure, AWS, and on-premises sources

Technical Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Services, Apache Spark, and database technologies (relational and NoSQL)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL, PySpark, PowerShell) and version control (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with API-based data integration, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization is highly desirable
