Cloud Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud-based applications and data.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Risks and Assurance
    • Develop a deep understanding of the security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data, leveraging the Shared Responsibility Model.
    • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd Party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
    • Expertise in configuring Public Cloud native security tooling and capabilities with a focus on Google Cloud Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies and GCP APIs.
    • Develop solutions and configure event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, including but not limited to technologies such as Azure Function, Automation Runbook, AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Infrastructure and Compliance
    • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, preferably Terraform.
    • Practical experience in designing and configuring CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
    • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • DevOps and Agile Practices
    • Deep understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
    • Working knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies.

  • A strong background in cloud security and compliance.
  • Experience with cloud security posture management tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
